As of this Thursday, the

curfew

and the

closing of bars and restaurants

in the Community of Madrid will

be delayed until 11 at night

.

The Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso has confirmed the application of this measure given the decrease in the number of infections by Covid-19: the cumulative incidence at 14 days now stands at 572 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 246 less than those registered a week ago.

However, the prohibition of social, family or recreational gatherings in homes and spaces for private use remains, except for those who belong to the same nucleus or group of coexistence.

Nor is the limit of

six people on the terraces

of catering establishments and a maximum of four diners indoors.

Faced with the extension of the hours of bars and restaurants, the Madrid Ministry of Health does not rule out the possibility of implementing the obligation to scan a QR code to be able to track customers in the event that a positive is registered, as already Castilla-La Mancha has done.

However, the Deputy Minister of Public Health and the Covid-19 Plan, Antonio Zapatero, trusts that the "very ambitious" plan of the sector will be enough

to make users aware of compliance

with the regulations.

Vaccinations at the Wanda

In parallel, the device has already been designed to start vaccination against Covid-19 of the

more than 30,000 large

non-institutionalized

dependents

of the region and their caregivers.

This sector of the population is mainly at home and, therefore, it will be the Primary Care nurses who come to the homes to administer the doses on site.

In addition, as of February 25, it will be the turn for

municipal police officers, firefighters and Civil Protection professionals

to be immunized

with AstraZeneca vials, which cannot be administered to people over 55 years of age.

In this case, the process will take place at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium and, for this, we are working in collaboration with the Madrid Federation of Municipalities and with the Madrid Safety and Emergency Agency112 in the management of appointments.
