The public rapporteur, whose conclusions are generally followed, argued Tuesday at the hearing in favor of the validation of municipal elections in the 7th sector of Marseille, lost by Senator RN Stéphane Ravier, paving the way for the confirmation of the result.

Defeated by 387 votes on June 28 in the second round of the ballot in the 13th and 14th arrondissements, with 49.03% of the votes against 50.97% for the LR list, Senator RN Stéphane Ravier had notably put forward different signatures on the attendance books, between the first and the second round, for 443 voters.

"Largely isolated" incidents

On this point, the public rapporteur, Arnaud Claude-Mougel, concluded before the administrative court that only 178 of these disputed signatures had to be taken into account, two times less than the total vote gap between the two lists, "which is more than enough to dismiss this complaint ”.

Likewise, the public rapporteur dismissed one by one the other elements put forward by Stéphane Ravier's advice, considering in particular that the various incidents noted, such as these pastries offered by the LR list in an office, these RN posters torn off or these LR posters even inside some polling stations, were "largely isolated" and "did not have such an impact that they could have affected the outcome of the election".
