Alpine skiing worlds: the Italian Bassino crowned in individual parallel, Worley 3rd

The Italian Marta Bassino became on Tuesday the first world champion in history in individual parallel at the Alpine Skiing World Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo (Italy).
Bassino won in the final against the Austrian Katharina Liensberger at the end of the two rounds. The French Tessa Worley finished 3rd ahead of the American Paula Moltzan.
