A 92-year-old woman died on Tuesday morning in Lyon after being struck by a heavyweight.
The accident occurred on the Cours Lafayette, reveals

specifying that the victim crossed the road outside a protected passage.
The driver, who continued on his way, was however intercepted by several witnesses, a few meters away.
The nonagenarian was killed instantly.
The emergency services could not do anything when they arrived.
Analyzes were carried out on the driver to find out whether he had consumed alcohol and drugs.
