It was shortly after 8 pm on Monday that the police's regional command center saw the assault via surveillance camera.
Two younger men beat a third man with kicks and blows.
Several police patrols were called to the scene and the two were arrested immediately.
The victim was taken to hospital, the condition for him is not known, the police say.
Another younger man was taken into custody, but is not suspected of assault.
