Essen (dpa / lnw) - Captain Jonas Ellwanger will stay with TuSEM Essen.
As the Bundesliga handball team, threatened with relegation, announced on Sunday, the 27-year-old backcourt player has his contract with Table 19.
extended until June 30, 2023.
Ellwanger has been playing for the Revierclub since he was seven and is currently working on his comeback after a cruciate ligament rupture.
«He will come back strengthened from his injury and rehab.
For me, Jonas is the head of the team, also outside the field ”, commented TuSEM sports director Herbert Stauber.
