Occupational health remains the poor relation of public policies.

France devotes only 3% of contributions - accidents at work and occupational diseases - to the assessment of occupational risks, against 10% for Germany.

Our country must catch up on this matter

", underlined

the deputy Carole Grandjean, rapporteur of this bill.

The proposed law focuses on three essential missions, namely prevention, medical monitoring and professional withdrawal, that is to say the maintenance in employment of employees who have been affected by health problems.

In the midst of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign, this text also reaffirms that the health services must fully play their role through awareness campaigns for vaccination and screening.

Another flagship measure is the reorganization of employee medical records but also the voluntary use of general practitioners who will be able to strengthen the number of occupational physicians.
