Lengenfeld (dpa / sn) - In a collision of several trucks on Autobahn 72 in Vogtland, one of the drivers was injured and tens of thousands of euros were lost.
As the police announced on Saturday, the chain accident began when the 49-year-old driver of a pickup truck tried to avoid a lost wheel of a truck near the town of Lengenfeld on Friday afternoon.
He collided with the central barrier.
The 49-year-old was uninjured.
Then a truck driver (33 years old) came from behind and braked because of the accident.
Another truck driver (42) driving behind him hit the 33-year-old's truck.
The 42-year-old was slightly injured and had to be treated on an outpatient basis.
Both trucks were towed away.
The directional lane Leipzig was completely closed for three hours.
