After 1,001 days in detention, Saudi activist Loujain Al-Hathloul is now with her parents in Riyadh.

In an interview with France 24, his sister Lina al-Hathloul recounts having found him tired and emaciated, but ready to continue his fight and demand justice.

According to his sister, Loujain Al-Hathloul is on parole and notably subject to a travel ban for five years.

Lina al-Hathloul is indignant that the official accusations against her sister, of collusion with countries "hostile to the Saudi kingdom", have never been made public, despite statements to the contrary by Crown Prince Mohammed Ben Salman in 2018.

Loujain Al-Hathloul hopes to see a successful torture complaint.

Her sister claims Saudi authorities offered to release her in 2019 in exchange for dropping the charges.

Abandonment of proceedings which she had refused.

She fears for her sister's life as long as she stays in Saudi Arabia.

She calls on the international community to push for the travel ban to be lifted.
