The Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy announced yesterday the interception and destruction of a "booby-trapped" drone launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards Abha International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while local sources in Yemen confirmed the failure of the Houthi militia to launch a ballistic missile from a remote area in the city of Radaa in Al-Bayda governorate. This led to a huge explosion at the launch site, killing and wounding many Houthi operatives, including foreign missile experts.

In detail, the spokesman for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy Forces in Yemen, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the joint coalition forces, yesterday morning, managed to intercept and destroy a "booby-trapped" drone launched by the terrorist Houthi militia in a systematic and deliberate manner to target Abha International Airport.

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Yusef bin Ahmed Al-Uthaimin, condemned the Houthi militia’s re-targeting of Abha International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation “condemns these criminal practices carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia targeting civilians and civilian objects, and that it holds these militias and those who stand behind them. On the ground, the Yemeni army forces backed by tribes managed to liberate the "Kassara" mountain range in the Hailan front in the Serwah district, west of the Ma'rib governorate, after they launched a counter-attack on the Houthi militia sites in the area, which suffered great losses.

Field sources confirmed that the army and tribes' forces continued their advance in the Maysarah front of Sarwah, and imposed full control over Tabab, which is located south of Tabat al-Siddiq, as well as took control of the "Zubair" Tabet and penetrated into Wadi Kofal, 6 km from the strategic camp of Coufal.

The sources stated that the army and tribes forces imposed their control over the supply routes on the entire western fronts of Ma'rib and now control the combat operations on the Serwah, Al-Khadhra, Hailan and Al-Mashjah fronts, noting that the coalition fighters carried out an air military operation that led to the collapse of the Houthi fronts in those areas.

The Yemeni army's artillery flattened the militia sites in the areas between Kufal and Sarwah, which led to the destruction of Houthi combat vehicles, including a tank and three armored vehicles, and the killing and wounding of the militia members on board.

The army and tribes were able to control a Houthi observation post in the Hailan Mountains after carrying out a circumvention operation and clashed with Houthi elements, which led to the death of 20 Houthis, including the prominent Houthi leader called “the son of the Sharif Prince”, and wounding others.

In Al-Mashjah, field sources confirmed the death and injury of 12 Houthis after the army managed to thwart Houthi attacks.

On the southern fronts of Ma'rib, field sources confirmed that a Houthi drone had been shot down in Jabal Murad, while the Yemeni army forces managed to thwart the Houthi attack in the "Ablah" sector.

On the Jadaan front, between Sanaa and Marib, the army and tribes managed to take control of one of the strategic areas, and inflicted the Houthis 50 dead and dozens wounded.

On the other hand, the Houthi militia in the capital, Sana'a, issued a circular to its members in the so-called Preventive Security (Intelligence) organization, stating that everyone who escaped from the fighting fronts in the vicinity of Sana'a has been arrested and imprisoned, and it has also warned of attacks that may affect strategic facilities and sites in the capital.

Sources in Sanaa revealed understandings between the Houthi militia and the "Brotherhood" organization regarding coordination to launch attacks and carry out attacks on the southern regions with the aim of confusing the liberated areas and separating the combat effort of the army and joint forces.

In Al-Jawf, confrontations continued on the Duhaidha and Al-Shallah fronts, and battles continued between the two sides on the eastern fronts of Al-Hazm, and the vicinity of Bir Al-Marazeeq, where tight ambushes were carried out against militias in the Al-Marazeeq area, which led to the death and injury of many Houthis.
