Abtsgmünd (dpa / lsw) - A 27-year-old motorist was killed in Abtsgmünd (Ostalbkreis) while trying to free his stuck car.
The man got stuck with his car on an icy surface at a construction site entrance early on Saturday morning, the police said.
According to his initial findings, with the engine running, he then engaged reverse gear and got out.
Apparently one of the wheels spun.
When the man was behind the car, the wheels would have engaged, the police said.
The 27-year-old was hit by the car and trapped.
According to the information, he could only be recovered dead.
