Mistreated in the first period but outnumbered in the second, Wales won in Scotland on Saturday (25-24) and won a second success in the Six Nations Tournament, after an eventful match.

In a meeting where the score changed hands on several occasions, the individual talent of the Welsh winger Louis Rees-Zammit made the difference in favor of the XV du Leek.

For the locals, penalized by the expulsion for brutality of their pillar Zander Fagerson in the 54th minute, it is however a big disappointment, after their first victory on English soil since 1983, a week ago.

A setback all the more cruel as they had seemed to really take the ascendancy during a first act of any beauty (17-8) and two tests by Darcy Graham and Stuart Hogg.

The game at the foot of the XV du Chardon, already decisive at Wembley, again worked wonders in the occupation of the field but also in the realization of the highlights.

The first try came from a little kick over the flat defense line of the Welsh by Ali Price for Darcy Graham, launched, who was able to go flatten near the posts (10-3, 17th).

It was then Stuart Hogg who distinguished himself by typing to follow in the opposing 22 meters and who took advantage of the clumsiness of Leigh Halfpenny to mark what seemed to be the break test (17-3, 24th), even if we had only been playing for 25 minutes, Scotland was so impressive.

Even reduced to fourteen, the Scots did not go far from victory, since Hogg had put his team back in the lead with his second try in the 64th minutes (24-20).

But Wales has a jewel on its wing in the person of Louis Rees-Zammit who has almost single-handedly handed over his team in the direction of travel.

His test at the end of the line and full of cold blood, to avoid the return of Duhan van der Merwe, just before the break, gave hope to his family (17-8, 37th).

He then perfectly took the interval to offer the 17-15 test to Liam Williams on a plateau (50th), before registering the victory test with an acceleration and a kick to follow which bounced back stack in his hands, ten minutes from the end (24-25).

After France's trip to Ireland on Sunday, the third day, in two weeks, will see Wales play an important card for a possible Grand Slam by receiving England, winner of Italy (41-18) a little earlier.

Scotland will play its last chance for a final victory at the Stade de France against the Blues.
