Saudi Arabia: 5 mosques are temporarily closed after cases of "Corona" among worshipers are proven

The Ministry called on worshipers to take precautionary measures and report any violations.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in Saudi Arabia closed five mosques temporarily in the regions of Riyadh and the northern border, after cases of "Corona" were proven among worshipers.

The ministry said in a press statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), that the total of mosques that were closed within six days reached 57 mosques, 44 of which were opened after the completion of the sterilization and the completion of the readiness.

The ministry explained that the five mosques are located four of them in the Riyadh region and one in the northern border region, calling on worshipers to take precautionary measures and cooperate in reporting any violations.

For its part, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced yesterday that it had recorded four new deaths from the new Corona virus, bringing the total deaths in the Kingdom due to Corona infection to 6,428 cases.

In a press statement, the Ministry indicated that 337 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of infections in the Kingdom to 372,410 cases.
