In a small letter, eight-year-old Sofie Rådestad wrote a small letter, put it in a bottle and threw it into the Baltic Sea.
The note read:
Hi!
My name is Sofie and I am 8 years old and my birthday is on the 3rd of September, I really want an answer to my bottle of mail ... ”
25 years later
On the other side of Sweden, 25 years later, Alexander played beach soccer with his friends.
When the ball ended up in a bush, he happened to see a bottle with a paper in it.
- There was a letter and I saw that it was old, but I did not think it was 25 years old.
I searched for her on Google with the information I had and then found her on Facebook but got no answer, says Alexander Petersfeldt from Gothenburg.
Almost gave up
Alex lost hope but seven months later he tried to contact her again, but then through her cousin.
- My cousin called and said that they had found bottle mail that I had sent, and this person sent pictures of the letter I had put in. Could not believe it was true, for a few seconds I felt that I was standing there on the bridge with the bottle in the hand.
It was so fun, says Sofie Rådestad from Stockholm.
