It has been further confirmed that Harvard Law School Professor Ramsayer, who claimed to be a voluntary prostitute, denied even the fact of forced mobilization.

Congressman Young Kim said that such distortion of history cannot be left alone, and that he will push forward a plan to incorporate real history into American textbooks.

In the Introduction to Research Results section, there is another paper on comfort women victims written in 2019.

It is a draft of a paper that has recently become a problem, and has an international publication number, and other researchers can even cite it.

This paper concluded that the Japanese military's forced mobilization of comfort women victims was not true.

It was written that there was no need for forced mobilization because prostitutes followed the Japanese army.

American scholars who saw this paper criticized Professor Ramsey for neglecting historical truth.

[Durdon/University of Connecticut Professor of History: Professor Ramsay is completely wrong.

Many historians have found enough evidence that Korean victims were kidnapped and taken to comfort stations.]

Congressman Young Kim also said he would not ignore Professor Ramsey's distortion of history.

[Young Kim/US Congressman: Professor Ramsey's argument is not true.

It's a misleading claim and it's also very disgusting.

I think we should say that we are not decisively.]

In 2016, Congressman Kim actively approved and passed an education plan that contains the history of comfort women victims in California textbooks.

In the future, he said he plans to pursue it at the federal level as well.

[Young Kim / US Congressman: I think the lessons that can be learned from tragic events should be taught appropriately in the classroom.

I would be very willing to take this issue up and discuss it with the party leadership.]

It seems that more active discussions will continue in the US Congress on comfort women victims.
