Wetzlar (dpa) - The Bundesliga handball players at HSG Wetzlar have no corona case and will end the precautionary isolation.

The club announced this on Friday.

The suspicion of an acute infection was not confirmed, it said from the Bundesliga club.

Training can be resumed after consultation with the Lahn-Dill district health department.

The Bundesliga game scheduled for Thursday (7 p.m.) at HSG Nordhorn-Lingen had previously been canceled.

"In the past two days we had some uncertainty, which could only be cleared up today when we received all negative test results," said managing director Björn Seipp.

Wetzlar will play the next Bundesliga game next Thursday (7 p.m.) against TSV Hannover-Burgdorf.
