Doha (dpa) - Hansi Flick was proud and relieved after FC Bayern's historic six-pack title - but also broken.

After the crowning glory with the final victory at the Club World Championship and a truly turbulent week, the Munich coach gave his stars two days off even before their return trip in the special plane.

“The game was already at the limit for all of us, including me on the sidelines,” confessed the 55-year-old.

Flick allows his ensemble around match winner Benjamin Pavard to relax a little until the next training session on Sunday.

After winning the World Cup in 1976 and 2001 and winning the Club World Cup in 2013, FC Bayern is officially the best team in the world for the fourth time.

"This is definitely the best season that the successful FC Bayern Munich has played," emphasized Flick after a total of six titles.

The award ceremony, decorated with fireworks, without a wheat beer shower, at which captain Manuel received the trophy with the obligatory mouth and nose protection in Corona times, Flick could not enjoy carefree despite fame and record.

The successful coach, who, like before, only Pep Guardiola (2009 with FC Barcelona) was able to celebrate six titles in one year, was already under the strain of the grueling week in the desert state during the 90 minutes at 1-0 (0-0) against outsider Tigres UANL from Mexico clearly visible.

The faltering arrival from the Bundesliga victory in Berlin against Hertha BSC with a night on the plane was followed by Jérôme Boateng's waiver of the final in Doha for private reasons.

And on the day of the final, Vice-Captain Thomas Müller's positive Corona test caused a stir.

The attacker is doing "quite well," Flick reported after the final.

"Now we have to see how we can get him back as soon as possible."

After Müller, who was isolated from the team, returned to Bavaria, the 31-year-old had to go into quarantine.

"We got the thing for him and for everyone else who couldn't be there," said Joshua Kimmich.

In addition to Müller, after positive Corona tests, Leon Goretzka and Javi Martínez and the injured substitute goalkeeper Alexander Nübel were still missing in Munich.

Goretzka and Martínez should be available again next Monday in the Bundesliga game against Arminia Bielefeld.

"It's happening quickly," said Flick.

Müller will be out first.

A lack of the leader at the start of the knockout round of the Champions League on February 23 at Lazio would weigh more heavily for the defending champion than before in the Bundesliga.

"I hope he's back quickly," said Robert Lewandowski.

The world footballer made his team hot during the break at the last six-pack step by promoting more crosses.

And after a cross from Kimmich, the decisive goal was promptly scored by World Champion Pavard.

"I like players who lead the way," said Flick to Lewandowski's half-time announcement to his team.

After the championship (June), DFB-Pokal (July), Champions League (August) and two Supercups (September), Flick crowned his Bayern work after less than a year and a half in the position of head coach.

"This is a huge success," said Flick, the 2014 world champion assistant coach, "simply an outstanding team performance."
