The local emergency, crisis and disaster management team in Sharjah, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Sharjah Special Education Authority, decided to suspend classes in schools and nurseries on both governmental and private levels in the emirate, and to convert them from the traditional urban education system to the distance education system at 100% And that until the end of this February, while monitoring the latest developments and developments, and evaluating the results of indicators of the health situation in the emirate.

The team explained that the decision comes as a continuation of the leadership’s concern for its male and female children, its concern for their health and safety, and the provision of appropriate alternatives for continuing education at a distance, to ensure comprehensive health security.

On the other hand, government school administrations yesterday informed their students that the "distance education" system will continue next week until further notice, based on the results of a questionnaire finally conducted by the Ministry of Education to find out the opinions of students' families.

She emphasized that her students would be kept informed of any developments that might arise during the coming days.

It was planned that students would return to school hours inside classes starting next Sunday, with an emphasis on applying precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus, and schools adopting a hybrid education system.
