Hamburg (dpa) - The Hamburg TV chef Tim Mälzer (49) would like to travel the world for a long time and without a higher goal.
«I really wish for a year around the world where I can only experience.
And without context, ”said Mälzer of the German Press Agency in Hamburg.
He usually tries a lot of food on his travels - often with the ulterior motive of being able to bring that into his meal.
"Unfortunately, I'm a very creative person."
As soon as something excites him, one idea leads to the other.
"Actually, I would like to see a year of mental standstill and just enjoyment."
Mälzer has a total of four restaurants.
In his two Hamburg restaurants - “Bullerei” and “The Good Embassy” - he employs around 100 people who are still employed by him despite the corona crisis and lockdown.
He can also be seen in several cooking programs, including “Kitchen Impossible” on Vox.
