Chemnitz (dpa / sn) - The Chemnitz City-Bahn wants to remind its passengers in a humorous way to wear mouth and nose protection.

She got prominent support for this: in his role as Ilse Bähnert, the cabaret artist Tom Pauls recorded four spots, the company announced on Thursday.

They will be presented on Tuesday in the presence of the artist and can then be heard on the four lines from Chemnitz to Stollberg, Hainichen, Burgstädt and Mittweida.

The aim is to convey a serious topic to people with a smile, said a company spokesman.

If successful, more spots with other artists could follow.

According to the information, a good 95 percent of the passengers in the city railway adhere to the mask requirement.

There are no recalcitrant refusers - rather people who forget to wear mouth and nose protection.

It is also noticeable that people on the trains are no longer wearing their masks correctly.

The humorous announcements are also intended to counteract this.
