Halle (AP) - Striker Terrence Boyd has advocated a contract extension for coach Florian Schnorrenberg at the third division football club Hallescher FC.

The 30-year-old thrives under the coach, has already scored twelve goals this season and is second on the top scorer list.

"He brings in an uncommon calm, is very detailed," said Boyd of the "Mitteldeutsche Zeitung" (Thursday).

Schnorrenberg's contract expires at the end of the season.

According to Boyd, Schnorrenberg and his assistant coach Daniel Ziebig would not only reach the team tactically, but above all humanly.

“But what is decisive is the human component.

I am very concerned with what makes a good coach, because after my career I would like to work as a coach in the youth sector, ”said the ex-Leipzig resident.

"You are a good team and we could all be happy if you stayed."
