Berlin (dpa / bb) - The Berlin Senate met for a special session on the corona crisis on Thursday evening.

The main aim of the meeting is to extend the lockdown until March 7th.

A corresponding federal-state agreement must be implemented at state level and anchored in the infection protection ordinance.

An exception is planned for hairdressers: They should be allowed to reopen as early as March 1st.

The gradual opening of the schools should start on February 22nd.

According to information from the German Press Agency, students in grades 1 to 3 and the final grades should return to the schools first.

There should then be alternating lessons for them.
