Berlin (dpa / sn) - The Saxon FDP member of the Bundestag Torsten Herbst has asked the government of the Free State to go its own way in managing the corona pandemic.

Herbst was disappointed with the results of the conference with Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and the country leaders.
"The resolution does not contain any specific improvements in the state deficits in combating pandemics, nor does it show the specific and realistic conditions under which opening steps are possible."
Meanwhile the Chancellery resembles an "ivory tower", it is losing sight of the actual situation in the country more and more.
The Saxon government must ask itself how long it will continue to support this "course of no prospects".
The population finally expects a long-term strategy.
