Ravensburg (dpa / lsw) - A 15-year-old is said to be responsible for the death of a woman at the Ravensburg train station.

The 62-year-old was apparently the victim of a robbery, police and prosecutors announced on Thursday.

By evaluating recordings from the surveillance cameras, the 15-year-olds from the Ravensburg district were tracked down.

She was provisionally arrested.

On Thursday afternoon, the urgent suspect was brought before the judge.

This ordered the pre-trial detention.

The 62-year-old was found on Tuesday near the train station with fatal injuries in the neck area.

A resident had alerted the police.

The emergency services tried to revive the woman.

An emergency doctor could only determine the woman's death.

The young person had apparently after the handbag of her victim and used a knife in the act.

The 62-year-old was on the way home from work.

The exact course of events is still being determined, said a police spokeswoman.

The girl allegedly took the woman's bag after the crime.

The alleged perpetrator is known to the police and only recently served a prison sentence for robbery.

The special commission “Night” continued to look for the 15-year-olds' outerwear on Thursday.

She wore a dark hooded sweater from the brand “Nike” at the time of the crime and then disposed of it.
