The World Health Organization's WHO advisory group recommended that AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine can be used by people over 65.

The Expert Strategic Advisory Group, a WHO immunization advisory group, acknowledged the lack of effective data for people over 65, but said it recommends that adults over 18 years of age can use it without age restrictions.

The advisory group also added that the AstraZeneca vaccine could also be used in areas where the mutant virus has occurred.
