Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - Hesse's pupils in grades one to six should be able to learn alternating lessons from February 22nd.

This was announced by Prime Minister Volker Bouffier (CDU) on Wednesday after a conversation with the heads of government of the federal and state levels.

From grade seven on, distance teaching applies, with the exception of final grades.

For the time being, this should last until the Easter holidays.

Restricted regular operations will also apply to daycare centers again from February 22nd.

Teachers and educators should be able to be tested free of charge more often than before.

With alternating lessons, the school classes are divided.

Half of them are taught in school, the other half study at home.

The groups swap on a daily or weekly basis.

In this way, contacts are reduced and distances can be maintained better.
