This was announced by the deputy head of Roskomnadzor Milos Wagner during a meeting of the State Duma commission to investigate the interference of foreign states in the internal affairs of Russia.

He said that in Russia, in fact, there are no representative offices of foreign platforms that would answer all requests from Roskomnadzor.

Wagner added that Roskomnadzor sends all requests, notifications, letters and other correspondence to foreign jurisdictions, usually to the USA, Great Britain,

“The first proposal is to think about creating a regulation that would allow creating a full-fledged representative office (of IT companies), and not answering our questions from time to time,” the deputy head of Roskomnadzor quotes TASS.

Earlier, the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy called on foreign social networks to independently monitor and block content supporting or promoting uncoordinated actions in Russia.
