President Emmanuel Macron is going to Nantes on Thursday February 11, where he will meet students from the Regional Administration Institute.

Trying to get out of the health crisis, he launched an offensive on equality and wanted to open the doors of the senior civil service.

Among the measures announced, places will be reserved for candidates from modest backgrounds.

Between the

management of vaccine stocks

and the

risk of re-containment

, Emmanuel Macron takes every opportunity to talk

about something other

than Covid-19.

All the more so if it is a question of adding "

social

 "

lines

to its balance sheet.

If the Head of State has made

equal opportunities

one of his priorities, the project is unfinished by the very admission of the executive.

The pandemic blew everything up

 ," laments a minister.

From now on, the French president will try to "

repair the social elevator

", as one of his advisers says.

Thursday February 11, in Nantes, he will announce more places in the next entrance exams to the grandes écoles of the public service for disadvantaged young people.

And on Friday 12th, he will launch an anti-discrimination platform.

Or quick measures, without long detour through Parliament.

Because 15 months before

the presidential election

, and urged by part of his camp to accelerate on the social front, the Head of State wants to act quickly.

And he promises something concrete to the French.

We have not done enough ... and what we have done, we have not shown enough

," admitted Emmanuel Macron during the last government seminar.
