February 10, 2021 The tough lockdown in Germany will be extended until March 7.

This is what emerges from the summit between the state and the regions, which has just ended, on anti-covid measures in which Angela Merkel and the governors of the Laender took part.

The reopening in the retail trade will take place in March in Germany only in regions where the weekly incidence per 100,000 inhabitants will drop to the level of 35 new Covid-19 infections.

This is one of the criteria that emerge from the summit between the State and the Regions, according to what the president of Saxony told the press.

Until now, the target indicated by the government had always been 50, but the Robert Koch Institut had asked to lower it.
