Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan obtained a BA in Applied Sciences and Applied Media Studies from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Abu Dhabi in 2012, and a Diploma in Studies from the Emirates Diplomatic Academy in 2017.

Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar began diplomatic work with the rank of attaché in 1978, and he also worked in the UAE embassy in Tokyo, the permanent delegation of the UAE in New York, and previously worked as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Syrian Arab Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Armenia, and an ambassador for the state In the Republic of Turkey, he rose through a number of positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the last of which was Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Political Affairs.

He represented the UAE in many international forums, and had participated in many meetings at the level of countries and regional and global organizations, and headed the country's delegation in many of them.

Khalifah Al-Marar holds a BA in Business Administration and Economics from Sophia University - Japan, and an MA in Political Economy from the New College of Social Research in New York - the United States.
