Last January, the news broke:

Dustin Diamond,

known for his role as

Screech

in the series Saved by the Bell, had been

admitted

to a Florida hospital for a

few days

where he went with

extreme pain.

After days in hospital, the worst of the prognoses was fulfilled and the interpreter was diagnosed with stage four cancer.

Diamond started treatment, but died a few days later, leaving thousands of fans of 90s fiction and many of his co-stars devastated.

, Dustin knew his end was near, but he didn't think it would be so immediate.

The same source has said that, according to what he told him in his last telephone talk, Diamond

fantasized about fulfilling two wishes

before dying:

meeting Justin Chancellor

, the bassist of Tool, his favorite music group, and being able to

visit the new Star exhibition Wars

at Disney World.

Dustin Diamond was taken home to

receive palliative care,

which allowed the actor to receive a visit from some of his most loved ones and say goodbye to them.
