Dresden (AP) - The catch-up game originally scheduled for Wednesday in the 3rd football league between table leaders SG Dynamo Dresden and Fifth Wehen Wiesbaden has been canceled.

As the club announced on Tuesday, a course committee determined that the course was unplayable.

“In large parts of Germany, the onset of winter is currently severely restricting the infrastructural conditions, including here in Dresden.

This time, too, we were prepared for the weather-related conditions, but the amount of rainfall has softened the playing field in the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion so much that, in view of the health of the players and the conditions of the field, it is not responsible for the game to be played on Wednesday evening would have been », said Dresden's sports director Ralf Becker in a club announcement.
