Hamburg (dpa / lno) - With the last ailing Jeremy Dudziak, Hamburger SV has started its preparation for the top game of the 2nd Bundesliga.

The 25-year-old midfielder trained individually again on Tuesday.

He suffered a strain in his thigh on Friday when the leaders were 3: 3 at Erzgebirge Aue.

"That's a really good sign," said head coach Daniel Thioune of Dudzia's training session.

If everything goes perfectly, he could be back at team training on Wednesday.

"That would also be important with a view to the Fürth game," said Thioune. With eight assists, Dudziaks is so far the best preparer for Hamburg.

Even striker Bobby Wood (knee problems) will probably get back into team training before the game on Saturday against the fourth in the table from Fürth.

Defender Josha Vagnoman is expected to practice with the entire team again in the coming week after his double ligament tear in his ankle.

On Tuesday, Thioune also gave two U21 talents the chance to show themselves in training.

Defender Bryan Hein (19) was already in a few sessions with the professionals in the summer, striker Robin Meißner (21) was able to compete with the first team for the first time.
