Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - This Tuesday (9:30 a.m.) a trial of a life-threatening attack with a kitchen ax in a Chinese restaurant starts in front of the Frankfurt Regional Court.
A 23-year-old man is charged.
The public prosecutor's office accuses him of attempted manslaughter and dangerous physical harm.
The prosecution had already spoken in favor of placing the man in a psychiatric hospital.
According to the investigations, he suddenly stormed into the kitchen of the restaurant in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen in June last year and hit a chef on the head with the ax.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
