The chronicle that was published in Dalademokraten at the end of January was about the Sweden Democrats' use of language and its, according to Hultqvist, right-wing extremist core and how the traditional right will never be able to "tame" SD.

Six days after the text was published, it was reported to the Ombudsman, and SD's party leader Jimmie Åkesson commented on it on his Instagram:

"The Social Democrats succeed with the somewhat paradoxical piece of art in pleading for a good tone in the debate while at the same time naming their political opponents by epithets such as Nazis, racists, right-wing extremists and pigs."

The SD leader then published a separate post where he posed with a pig mask for his face and used the hashtag #jesuisgris.

The Minister of Defence's high-profile debate article led to a heated debate

Hultqvist: "Must mark"

But when the Minister of Defense met the SD leader in a debate in Aktuellt about the tone of Swedish politics, he said that Åkesson interprets his quote as "damn reading the Bible" while maintaining that the Sweden Democrats are a right-wing extremist party.

- We are dealing with a party that uses rhetoric such as "choose side", "prepare for battle".

Then a number of leading Sweden Democrats want to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

And then Åkesson talks about war in the Riksdag and in the next election campaign.

Jimmie Åkesson, on the other hand, believes that the Social Democrats are now turning to the Sweden Democrats to shift focus from what Åkesson calls the government's "failed policy".

Åkesson: "It's so low"

- They call us pigs and talk about us being tamed.

It is usually animals that are to be tamed.

It's so low, it's remarkable.

But it's about them not wanting to talk about the shootings, about the fact that we have thousands of dead in covid-19 or that we have an electricity crisis in Sweden.

The SD leader called on the Minister of Defense to "raise himself a little" and to talk about factual politics instead.

- I understand that you do not want to talk factual politics.

I understand that you are ashamed of all the failures you have behind you.

But do something about them instead of jumping on us by dragging the debate down to this extremely low level.
