Two days after their demonstration in front of Italy (50-10), the Blues of Fabien Galthié switched to Ireland, their next opponent in the Six Nations Tournament, with a Monday day between meetings and rehearsals.

After two weeks in Nice and a weekend in Rome, the XV of France found Marcoussis and its National Rugby Center (CNR) to begin preparation for the trip to Dublin on Sunday.

The day started early for the 31 players gathered at the CNR, who kicked off their week with a studious collective meeting.

The morning was thus devoted to individual preparation, with three workshops and a distribution in small groups between forwards and three-quarters: bodybuilding, energy and interviews with coaches.

A meeting on the living environment then preceded an individual preparation session, with in particular a little "clarity on the ground", where the players rehearse the combinations at low intensity.

The health bubble has also been reinforced around French players since journalists will only be allowed for Wednesday training, the high intensity one, and only from the Pierre-Camou pitch stand and not at the edge of the pitch, as usually.

The press conferences will also take place by videoconference and not face-to-face.

The Blues are gathered in Marcoussis until Friday before leaving for Dublin to face Ireland, on the second day of the Six Nations Tournament.

Coach Fabien Galthié and manager Raphaël Ibanez will announce the list of 23 selected for this meeting on Friday.
