The regional bus company Unstrut-Hainich und Kyffhäuserkreis mbH announced on Monday that the weather conditions are not significantly better and that there are still restrictions in road traffic.
The city traffic in Sondershausen is not affected.

In Erfurt, due to snow drifts, not all light rail vehicles were running again on Monday evening.
In part, a rail replacement service with buses was set up, but some other bus lines had been discontinued or the buses only ran irregularly, as the public utility company announced on Monday evening.
Because of the expected fresh snow at night, passengers would also have to be prepared for restrictions on bus and rail traffic in the state capital on Tuesday.
