Wolfsburg (AP) - The table leader Fischtown Pinguins has lost a north duel with the Grizzlys Wolfsburg for the first time this season.

In the northern group of the German Ice Hockey League, Bremerhaven lost to Lower Saxony 3: 4 (1: 1, 1: 2, 1: 1) on Monday evening.

For Wolfsburg, it was the first game for all members of the team after several days of quarantine after two players tested positive for the corona virus.

The goals for the grizzlies were scored by Spencer Machacek (5th), Pekka Jormakka (26th), Max Görtz (40th) and Jeffrey Likens (44th).

Miha Verlic got all three Bremerhaven goals in the 12th, 29th and 53rd minutes.
