Neuss (dpa / lnw) - The police are investigating a medical employee at a hospital in Neuss on suspicion of a homicide.
The woman could have deliberately caused the death of a seriously ill patient while administering medication, the public prosecutor in Düsseldorf and the police announced on Monday.
A homicide commission under the direction of the police headquarters in Düsseldorf is currently investigating.
The woman was arrested last Friday.
According to the information, the arrest warrant was issued, but suspended under certain conditions.
The hospital concerned released the suspect.
The homicide investigation was ongoing, the police said.
