George Shultz

and a great architect of American diplomacy at the end of the Cold War, died this Saturday at the age of 100, the Hoover Institute announced Sunday.
"One of the most important political strategists of all time, who served three American presidents, George P. Shultz passed away on February 6 at the age of 100," the institution said in a statement posted on its website.
