Berlin (dpa / lno) - Regional soccer team Rot-Weiss Essen receives the second division Holstein Kiel in the quarterfinals of the DFB Cup.
That was the result of the draw on Sunday by the sailor Boris Herrmann during the ARD “Sportschau” in Cologne.
The Essen team surprisingly threw Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 after extra time on Tuesday.
In the other game play: Borussia Mönchengladbach against Borussia Dortmund, second division SSV Jahn Regensburg against Werder Bremen and RB Leipzig against VfL Wolfsburg.
The games will take place on March 2nd and 3rd.
The semi-finals are scheduled for May 1st and 2nd, the final is on May 13th in Berlin.
