Veteranpoolen's Södertälje office, which in 2020 has received happy pensioners from Södertälje, Salem, Nykvarn, Botkyrka and Huddinge, has seen an increase in registrations of interest of 30 percent compared with the year before.

Karin Lindvall hopes that the demand for pensioners' services will also increase again after a pandemic.

This is in the middle of the pandemic - where age has been pointed out as a risk factor.

- It is absolutely surprising, says Karin Lindvall at the Veteran Pool's office in Södertälje.

But above all, gratifying that so many are interested.

No connection to the pandemic

She does not think that the increase can in any way be linked to covid-19, but that it is about the fact that many at this point have opened their eyes to the Veteran Pool.

- We have been here since 2009 and have become more and more famous, says Karin Lindvall.

A study from the occupational pension company Alecta and Statistics Sweden shows that every third 68-year-old now has income from work in Sweden.
