Doha (AP) - In the event of a final at the Club World Cup, FC Bayern Munich will have to deal with the Mexican soccer club Tigres UANL.
The team from Monterrey won the semi-finals against Palmeiras Sao Paulo 1-0 (0-0) in Doha on Sunday.
Bayern will meet Al-Ahly from Egypt in the semi-finals on Monday.
The Frenchman Andre Pierre Gignac scored the winning goal for Tigres in the 54th minute with a penalty kick.
The 2016 European runner-up was already the match winner with two goals in the quarter-finals against Ulsan Hyundai FC.
