Apartment fire in Malmö - seven people to hospital

The alarm came to SOS at 17.17.

Then the police, ambulance and rescue service went to the scene.

- It burned in an apartment with smoke development in the stairwell, says Jimmy Modin.

The rescue service has now extinguished the fire, but the police remain at the scene.

So far, the cause of the fire is unclear.

Cooking is believed to be the cause

At 18.45, the police left the scene and a report of general negligence must be made.

- The fire is believed to have started in connection with cooking.

According to Region Skåne's press service, one of them, a man in his 40s, has minor injuries.
