Quedlinburg / Halberstadt (dpa / sa) - In Quedlinburg in the Harz Mountains, two parked cars burned down on Saturday night.
According to initial investigations, one of the vehicles initially caught fire - it was very likely that it was set on fire, the police in Halberstadt said.
The fire then spread to a car parked in front of it.
The property damage is estimated at around 35,000 euros.
A preliminary investigation into arson had been initiated, it said.
