In the two-man bobsleigh, Johannes Lochner, Christoph Hafer and Junior World Champion Hans-Peter Hannighofer also have a chance to win a medal at the home World Cup in Altenberg.

It is unclear whether the threatening snow chaos in the Ore Mountains will affect the railway conditions.

In the women's category, second-placed Kim Kalicki and third-place Laura Nolte want to attack the half-time leading US pilot Kaillie Humphries again and secure their medal positions at the same time.

The main rival is the Norwegian Halvor Egner Granerud, who is now clearly the best athlete on the field again after his mixed Four Hills Tournament.

It is the third from last station before the eagerly awaited home World Cup in Oberstdorf.

For the women, the second individual in Hinzenbach is on the program.

On Friday, Carina Vogt finished eleventh and achieved the best result after her long injury break.

The yellow bearer recently won the Seefeld triple and is also the outstanding combiner this winter.

After the weekends in Beijing and Lillehammer were canceled due to corona, no further competition has been scheduled until the home World Cup in Oberstdorf.

World Cup in Ulricehamn, Sweden

After the World Cup in Falun, cross-country skiers are challenged again this weekend in Sweden.

In Ulricehamn, individual sprint races are initially on the program on Saturday before a team sprint is completed on Sunday.

In contrast to the last few longer classic races, in which Katharina Hennig in particular was convincing, the German cross-country skiers cannot keep up with the leaders in the sprint.

In Moscow, Ramona Hofmeister had recently climbed the podium in third place despite the chaos of the trip including the lack of suitcases and snowboards.
