Bestensee (dpa) - The Netzhoppers KW-Bestensee have to worry about their participation in the playoffs in the volleyball Bundesliga.

In the home game against the SWD powervolleys in Düren, the team of coach Christophe Acht recorded their ninth defeat of the season on Saturday with 0: 3 (13:25, 21:25, 17:25).

As ninth in the table, the Brandenburgers now go into the last four game days of the normal round.

At Netzhoppers, Byron Keturakis was again the best player of the past few weeks due to back problems.

In order to be doubly occupied in the important player position, the Brandenburgers had signed the Pole Kamil Droszynski on Friday.

The 24-year-old was last without a club and had kept fit in his home country with the first division club AZS Olsztyn.

After only one training session at his new club, Droszynski started against Düren instead of 19-year-old Levin Gust.

The Brandenburgers initially had little to oppose their opponent's dynamic attacking game.

In the first round, the guests were able to outclass their opponent with 14 points immediately before the first set ball, although the new man Droszynski had quite a few good actions on the other side.

After that, the Netzhoppers came into play a little better, but could not seriously embarrass the highly concentrated Dürener.

For the Rhinelander, middle blocker Lucas van Berkel and attacker Sebastian Gevert were the outstanding forces.
