This is reported by TASS with reference to the Deputy Minister for Citizens Protection Nikos Hardalias, who is responsible in the government for eliminating the consequences of crisis situations.

In particular, from 6 to 15 February, in the central region of Attica with the capital Athens and in Thessaloniki, the following measures will be in force: in these areas on weekdays, a ban on the movement of people on the streets or on public and private transport from 21:00 to 05:00 , and on Saturday and Sunday curfews will now start at 6:00 pm and run until 05:00 am.

According to the deputy minister, the ban on movement from prefecture to prefecture continues.

In Attica and Thessaloniki, lyceums will be closed from 6 to 15 February, while schools of other levels and kindergartens will continue to function.

Earlier in Greece, 1,195 new cases of coronavirus were detected per day.
