This structure composed of about fifteen members, which co-organizes the elections with the Ministry of Territorial Administration and the General Election Delegation (DGE), was dissolved at the beginning of the week.

For the Malian Ministry of Territorial Administration, the term of office of the members of the Independent National Electoral Commission having expired, its dissolution of the institution was normal.

It is not the opinion of the associations and political parties that are members of the M5 (closer to the opposition than the government) who see the dissolution of the Ceni as a government maneuver.

It just shows that this is a government that has no respect for the law.

They have already prepared their texts.

Those they want to come and impose the head of the country, they have already prepared their texts.

Everything else is staged,

”protested Choguel Maïga, spokesperson for M5.

The government categorically denies and points out that a Support Unit for the Electoral Process (CAPE) has been created, with the Malian Minister of Territorial Administration.

Is it to replace the late Céni?

No, it is simply a technical cell, answers the ministry which adds that the reflection is in progress to set up the organ which will organize the future polls.
