The communication technology test satellite No. 6 is mainly used for satellite communication, radio and television, data transmission and other services, and carries out relevant technical test verification.

This mission is the 360th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.

Prior to this, the Changsan B rocket successfully launched the Tiantong-1 03 satellite on January 20, bringing a "good start" for China's space launch in 2021.

February 4th coincides with the new year of the Chinese Lunar New Year, and the Changsanyi Rocket reports another victory.

In just 16 days, this type of rocket achieved two wins in its launch mission before the Spring Festival, sending a New Year blessing to the people.

According to Liu Lidong, the overall chief designer of the Long March 3A series of carrier rockets of the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, compared with the past, this mission has two highlights, making the rocket launch more reliable and efficient.

The first is to realize the electronic quality confirmation for the first time.

Previously, the launch site quality verification work mainly took the form of paper forms.

For the first time in this mission, the electronic confirmation method was adopted to implement the fine control of the quality confirmation process and results through information technology.

The test team members will record the daily work content in the electronic quality confirmation sheet in the form of pictures, data and text.

The personnel of the model two totals and each system can obtain detailed information about the data record of each quality confirmation work through electronic inquiry at any time.

The second is to comprehensively verify the de-tasking of the instrument cabin.

In recent years, through a large number of simulations and ground verification tests, developers have unified the configuration of the rocket instrument cabins of the long three-second and modified three-configuration rockets, and realized the design of de-tasking.

Liu Lidong said that this improvement has been verified for the first time in the second configuration of the Changsan B rocket, which is conducive to improving efficiency and supporting high-density launch.

In the future, the rocket's ability to adapt to changes in payload during batch production and final assembly will be further improved.

This year, the Long March 3A series of carrier rockets are expected to be launched more than 10 times, especially in the second half of the year, when the mission is relatively concentrated, when the density is high, it will be launched once every half month on average. De-tasking design makes the rocket's technical state more stable, coupled with the continuous optimization of technology, these will help the Changsan B rocket to further improve its reliability and achieve another good result.
